Rand E Rensvold Jr., 64, a longtime resident of New Mexico, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2023, surrounded by his family after battling cancer.
Rand was an avid fan of the Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs and loved watching games with family and friends.
He loved his family. Loved watching his children and grandchildren grow up.
He enjoyed a good conversation and sharing ideas and skills.
Rand's humor and laugh were infectious and brought smiles to everyone he knew.
He liked working around his home and property. Rand and his wife, Colleen, liked relaxing on their deck and enjoying the beautiful New Mexico sunsets.
His heart was big, and he gave of himself in any situation, from helping a friend in need to lending a hand to a stranger stranded on the side of the road. Rand never had to think about what to do. His nature was always to help.
His kind heart, goofy laugh, and relentless ambition will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his father Rand Sr., mother, Barbara, brother, Brian, and brother-in-law, James.
Rand is survived by his wife and best friend of 25 years, Colleen; their children, Brandon, Christopher; his wife, Katherine; and his daughter Janae. His grandchildren Jordyn, Nate, Warren, and Sammy. Stepmother, Frances, Stepfather, George, sister Desiree, brother-in-law Jack, and his wife Ardath. Nieces Molly, her husband Marcos, their children Lacy and Skyler, Chelsey and her partner Paxton, nephew Drew, and his wife Camille. Nieces Charity and Shannon. Many cousins and loving friends.
