In Loving Memory of Ramona Tarango

Albuquerque, NM - It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ramona Tarango on January 19, 2024, at the age of 63. Born on November 2, 1960, in Albuquerque, she was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend to all who knew her.

Ramona was a loving and devoted mother to her son Nestor Tarango, who brought immense joy and pride to her life. She found immense gratification in nurturing her family.

Ramona was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She found solace and spiritual guidance within the embrace of her faith and was a shining example of love, forgiveness, and devotion.

Ramona will be deeply missed by her son Nestor Tarango (partner Brittany Abbott), her partner Clifford Abeita, her sisters Guadalupe Tarango, Silvia Rodarte and husband Robert, her grandchildren Hannah, Abraham, and Mila Tarango, her nieces Maria Antonieta and Martina Angelica Rivera, Katie Rodarte, and nephew Gabriel Rodarte. Her memory will forever be cherished in their hearts.

Funeral services will be held on February 9, 2024. A Rosary will be recited at 9:00 am, followed by a Mass at 9:30 am, both at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, located at 619 Copper Avenue NW. A graveside service will take place at Mount Calvary Cemetery at 11:00 am, where Ramona will be laid to rest.

Ramona will be remembered as an angel among us. May her soul find eternal peace.
