Ramona Quevedo
February 11, 1924 — April 17, 2017
Ramona Quevedo, 93, a resident of Albuquerque since 1984, was called to her eternal resting place on April 17, 2017. She entered this world on February 11, 1924 in Bernalillo, NM, born to Anastacio and Seprecia Garcia.
Growing up in Bayard, Nebraska, she met her husband of 55 years, Manuel. She is survived by her children, Bernadette, Marco, Philip, Ennio, Claudia and twins Tracy and Stacy Quevedo; grandchildren, Ryan, Olivia, Vicente, Mario, Carlos, Gabriela, Marcus and Diego; great-grandchildren, Dyllin, Austin, Ignacio and Marilena, and her sisters, Nora Reyes, Dora Bosso and Diane Shapiro.
Ramona was a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Rosary will be recited Monday, April 24, 2017 at 9:30 a.m., followed by Mass at 10:15 a.m. at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 5712 Paradise Blvd. NW, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87114. A private interment will take place at a later date.
