Ralph Franklin Conway, 88, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2025. Born on July 14, 1936, Ralph lived a life marked by dedication, hard work, and love for his family.
At the age of 17, Ralph enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, serving as an airplane mechanic. His service took him to Texas, Louisiana, Alaska, and finally New Mexico, where he met Elsie the love of his life. They shared 66 wonderful years together.
Ralph began his professional career with Rainbo Baking Company at the age of 24. Starting as a sales representative, he moved through the ranks and took his family with him to Kansas City and Tucson before finding his way back to Albuquerque, where he served as President of the bakery until he retired in 1993.
Ralph, a devoted husband and father, is survived by his beloved wife Elsie, and their five children: Wayne, Patrick, Ron, Brenda, and Dan. He is also survived by their 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m. on January 24 at Risen Savior Catholic Church. A reception will follow to celebrate Ralph's life and legacy.
Ralph's life was a testament to his dedication to God, family, country, and his career. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Interment will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
