Ralph Archuleta, age 80, a resident of Rio Rancho NM, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, was called to eternal resting after battling a short-term illness on Saturday, October 3, 2020. He entered this world on December 26, 1939, in Las Vegas, NM, born to Margarito and Corina Archuleta. He is survived by his wife, Joan Archuleta; sister, Evan Archuleta-Gonzales; daughter, Cynthia Grigg and husband, Keven; son, Ralph Archuleta and wife, Cindy; son, Clyde Archuleta; granddaughter, Kristina McKay and husband, Norman; grandson, Josh Kesterson and wife, Caren; great-grandchildren, Jayden, Jax, Aliana McKay and Aurora Kesterson and other loving family members. He was preceded in death by his father, Margarito Archuleta, Corina Archuleta-Lopez, stepfather, Alberto Lopez, and his brother, Abelino Archuleta. Ralph retired from the City of Colorado Springs after 20 years. Ralph and Joan traveled national and international for 12 years their most exciting visit was the Vatican. Ralph knew no strangers and loved serving others he was a member of the Knights of Columbus where he helped build the prayer garden for the Church of the Incarnation. He will be terribly missed.
A Rosary will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020, 9:30 a.m. with a Mass of Resurrection to follow, at the Church of the Incarnation Catholic Church, 2309 Monterrey Rd. NE in Rio Rancho with Rev. Fr. Leo. He will be laid to rest at St. Anthony Cemetery, 811 6th St. Las Vegas, NM.
Due to COVID 19 there will not be a reception after services.
