Rachel Carmen Almaraz

Rachel Carmen Almaraz, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, our beloved mother and grandmother, entered into eternal life on the Feast Day of St.’s Joachim and Anne, parents of the Virgin Mary, July 26, 2021.

She was a member of Sangre De Christo Catholic Church in Albuquerque, NM.

Rachel was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Almaraz; parents, Alejandro and Jesusita Maes, brothers and sisters, Carlos Maes, Nickolas Maes, Arturo Maes, Natividad Maes, Telesfora Vigil, Frances Torres, Romelia Garcia, Leandro Maes, and daughter-in-law, Debra Almaraz.

She is survived by her children, Laura and Todd Lee, Eric Almaraz, Greg Almaraz, Rob Almaraz; and grandchildren, Trishae and Mark Furmanek, Denae Almaraz, and Kyle Almaraz.

Services will take place on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, at FRENCH - Lomas beginning with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m.

A Rosary and Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at Sangre De Cristo Catholic Church,  8901 Candelaria Road NE, Albuquerque, NM 87112, with Interment following at 1:30 p.m. at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
