R. Lawrence "Larry" Spellins

Larry Spellins, age 77, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, March 13, 2015. He died peacefully at home with his family. He was a wonderful husband, dad and papa. He is survived by his wife of 51A½ years, Linda; son, Jeffery Todd and his wife, Elizabeth; grandchildren, Ashley, Taylor, Cristian, Jordan and Jett; brother, Ronnie and wife, Penny of Houston; sister, Flo Hawkins of Oklahoma City; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents. Larry was born in Arkansas, relocated to Albuquerque and graduated from Highland High School and attended St. Joseph's College. He and his wife moved to Dallas and he retired from Ben E. Keith Foods. After retirement they moved back to Albuquerque. Celebration of Life Service will be Friday, March 20, 2015, 11:00 a.m. at FRENCH - Westside. Memorial contributions are suggested to Temple Baptist Church, 1613 Arizona St NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.
