Quirina Lopez (Chama), age 86, born in Belen, New Mexico and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 4, 2022. Mrs. Lopez is survived by her significant other, Seledon Lopez; her seven children, Elosia Gutierrez and husband, Nick, Elizabeth Smith, Raymond Lopez, Jr., Veronica Ruiz, Jerry Lopez, Sylvia Montoya, Cathy Giron, Leonard Lopez and spouse, Brenda; sisters, Dolores Gonzales, Vangie Moya, and Mary Mirable; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends! She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonor and Leandro Barranca; late husband, Raymond Lopez; son-in-law, Paul Montoya; and grandson, Abel Trujillo.
A Viewing and Visitation will take place on Monday, February 21, 2022, 12:00 p.m., at FRENCH- University. A Rosary to follow from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 22 at 12:00 noon at the King's House (Casa Del Rey). Burial at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Calvary. Reception will follow at the Moose Lodge, 2121 Edith Blvd. NE.
