OTERO, PVT CHRISTOPHER ALBERT PVT Christopher Albert Otero, "Little Chris", 18, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, August 28, 2013. He is survived by his father, Christopher Nathaniel Otero; mother, Tereah Rose Tafoya-Otero; sister, Cydney Jordanne; brothers, Joseph Jacob, Zyan Jason, Xavier Ryan, Kane Nathaniel; grandparents Lawrence Christopher Otero and Gloria Hoak-Otero and Barbara M. Najera; great-grandmother, Josefina Hoak; aunt, Heather Romero and husband, Patrick; uncles, Lawrence M. Otero, Jude Otero and wife, Nikki, Joseph R. Otero and wife Jeannette; aunt, Jamie M. Tafoya, and fiancée Joe; cousins, Patrick J. Romero and wife, Ashlee, Lawrence "Lo Lo" Otero, Lauren M. Romero, Matthew "Ma Mah" Otero, and Raquel Otero. Little Chris attended Volcano Vista High School, was a member of New Mexico Junior Wrestling (NMJW), USA Wrestling, New Life Baptist Church, and was actively serving in the United States Marine Corp. Friends may visit on Monday, September 9, 2013 from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. at New Life Baptist Church, 6900 Los Volcanes Rd NW. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Legacy Church, 7201 Central Ave. NW., with Dr. Larry E. Allen officiating. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
