Priscilla Rarrick

Priscilla "Grammoo" Rarrick passed away peacefully at home, in Albuquerque on Thursday, March 27th 2025, at the spry age of 95, surrounded by family.

Priscilla was born on November 10th, 1929 in Fort Atkinson Wisconsin. She had one brother Jack. She studied as a seamstress starting at age 4. She was married to the love of her life and the father of her 5 children, Mr. Harry Vanroosenbeek in Wisconsin. Priscilla loved her children Donna (her step daughter) Darryl, Donnie, Doug, Duane, and Dena. Harry and Priscilla moved to New Mexico in the 1970's. Together they had 8 grandbabies.

Priscilla was preceded in death by her first love Harry in 2001.

In 2002 Pricilla got the opportunity that few are able and fell in love again and married Mr. Harold Rarrick. She gained wonderful bonus children and more bonus grandchildren, who she loved deeply. Harold preceded Priscilla in death in 2016.

Priscilla did so many amazing things in her 95 years.. She was a campfire girl, she worked in an onion field, she was a waitress, and a car hop, on roller skates for A&W where she met Harry. They traveled for years before having children. Priscilla worked different odd jobs while raising her children. Priscilla loved jazzercise and Tai chi. She was very active, going to local bars and making friends everywhere she went. She did a lot of alterations for her friends, and was extremely crafty. She loved to travel with both her husbands and her granddaughters.

Priscilla "Grammoo" is survived by her 5 Children, and step daughter Donna, Darryl (wife Karen), Donnie, (wife Mary), Doug (wife Judy), Duane (wife Dawn), and daughter Dena. Step son Shawn (wife Glenda). Grammoo had plenty of grandchildren. Bri, Alice, Nikki, Gretchen, Daniel, Serena, Troy, Jared, Samantha, and Christine. Grammoo had the honor of great grandchildren, Isayiah, Gabriel, Julian, Pearl, Curtis, Harper, Braxton, Jesse, Dawson, and one on the way.

There will be a Memorial for Priscilla on Saturday, May 10th, 2025 at 11 am Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 7999 Wyoming Blvd, Albuquerque NM 87109.
