Age 85, died Sunday, December 16, at Lovelace Hospital surrounded by her family. Priscilla was born in Waterbury, CT, the daughter of Sidney and Dorothy Henchel. In 1952 she married Richard Jupp, whom she met on a blind date when he was a Coast Guard First Class Petty Officer. The couple started married life in Stamford CT, then moved to Michigan in 1955 and to Albuquerque in 1973. Priscilla was the long-time owner and manager of Tecolote Tiles Gallery in Old Town, an enterprise that was a natural fit with her enduring love of New Mexico history and culture. She was also well-traveled, having been at various times of her life to most parts of the US--including multiple trips to Hawaii--Bermuda, and Europe. She loved reading, gardening, crossword puzzles, and tending her beloved dogs and cats. Priscilla is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Richard; son Robert of Veguita NM, and his wife Anita; daughter Elizabeth Moore of Silver Spring MD, and her husband David; and son William of Royal Palm Beach FL, his wife Peggy, and their son Jeff Alexander.
