Priscilla E. Gonzales

Priscilla Gonzales was born in Denver, Colorado on May 31, 1931 to Clifford and Nancy Morelock.  She journeyed to be with our Lord on April 23, 2018.  Her presence was the warming sunshine in the hearts of her loving family.  She passed peacefully surrounded by family members.

Priscilla retired from Albuquerque Federal Savings and Loan Association where she was a loan officer for many years. She decided to devote her time to the love of her life, husband Max, and her grandchildren.

She is survived by husband, Max Gonzales; daughters, Nancy Montoya (Tobias), Anna Cupich (Rudy); grandchildren, Tobias Montoya, Rudy Cupich (Liz), Alexis Indest (Matt); eight great grandchildren. Jessica, Antoinette, Xavier, Christopher, Ryan, Pia, Kaia, and Avery; and two great-great grandchildren, Macario, and Mia; brothers-in-law, Lupe Lopez, Jr., Tony Gonzales and wife, Anita, and sister-in-law, Glory Salazar (Ronnie); and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.   She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Nancy Morelock; brother, Max Olvera; and sisters, Esther Lopez and Dorothy White (Ted).

She was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church for over 50 years.  She dearly loved to go deep sea fishing with Max in the San Francisco Bay area, camping, and travelling with Max to wonderful places like Italy, Spain, and Portugal.  She and Max enjoyed a visit to the Casino now and then.  Family and friends would often stop by her home to enjoy her fabulous red (and also green) chili dishes, and the best tortillas ever made.

Services will be held on Monday, April 30, 2018, 1:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Lomas.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.act.alz.org , or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, www.stjude.org .
