Phyllis Ardine Killpatrick

Phyllis Killpatrick (née Bennot), aged 94, peacefully passed away on April 12, 2024, in Albuquerque, New Mexico, surrounded by her children. Born in Harvey, Illinois, Phyllis was the daughter of Charles and Clara Bennot. Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband Don, brother Budrow "Bud," sister Enid, sister Wilma and several nieces and nephews. Phyllis is survived by her daughter Erin, her son Evan and his wife Lana, grandsons Aaron and Joshua, three step-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren. Phyllis was a graduate of the University of New Mexico, enjoyed playing bridge, and loved music. She will forever be remembered for her unwavering love and dedication to her children and her love for children throughout the world. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. A visitation and subsequent service to honor Phyllis' life will be held at 9 am on Saturday, April 27th, at Kish Funeral Home, 10000 Calumet Ave in Munster, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that remembrances of Phyllis be made in the form of a contribution to Operation Smile.
