Phillip D. Aragon

Aragon, Phillip D. Phillip D. Aragon, 61, longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away unexpectedly on July 30, 2014. He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn; daughters, Aretha Sanchez and fiancAC. Larry Moya, and Jamie Aikins and husband Jerone; grandsons, Michael Vargas, Damian Vargas, Jerron Aikins, Jayden Aikins and Jordan Aikins; siblings, John Aragon and wife, Sandra, Ronald Aragon and wife, Martha, Marlinda Brown and husband, Charles, and Timothy Aragon and wife, Bonnie, along with many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Ruby Aragon; brothers, Douglas Aragon and Daniel Aragon; sister, Thomasita "TJ" Wegoner, and nephew, Gilbert Aragon. Phil had a great love of music. He sang, played piano and guitar and he will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor. His greatest love in life was always his family - especially his dear wife and best friend, Evelyn. He was loving, caring and kind. He will be missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. Friends may visit FRENCH- University from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 4, 2014, with a funeral service to begin at 3:00 p.m. Per Phillip's wishes, cremation will take place following the services.
