Philip Villanueva

Philip Villanueva, age 88, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, went to be with our Lord Jesus on Sunday, January 17, 2021. Philip is survived by his children, Michelle Torrez, Melissa Roveto, Martin Villanueva and Matthew Villanueva and his wife, Lolli, all of Albuquerque, seven grandchildren, Br. Gabriel Thomas Mosher O.P., Jared Mosher and his wife, Jill, Justin Torrez y Villanueva and his wife, Marina, Janelle Holguin and husband Oscar., Lauren Roveto, Jacob Villanueva and Maddie Villanueva, great-grandchildren, Kierin Mosher, Inigo A. Torrez y Reyes, Jaid Mosher, Jericho Mosher and Lily Tucker. He was preceded in death by his wife Dolores in 2014. Philip was a faithful husband, committed father loving grandfather and great-grandfather and will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Rosary will be held on Thursday, January 28 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1502 Sara Rd NE. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, at 10:30 a.m., also at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Ennichement will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery on Monday.
