Perfecta Marquez

Perfecta Marquez was born June 10, 1931 and passed away on June 6, 2024. A lifelong resident of New Mexico. She grew up on a farm between Moriarty and Chilili, New Mexico. Perfecta was preceded in death by her daughter Sylvia. She is survived by her loving husband Tony, six daughters, Darlene (Reynold), Tess (Gary), Bernadette (Eddie), Cindy (Mike), Penny (Ben), Victoria (Joshua); her grandchildren, Adam (Erika), Danielle (Mark), Dean, Samantha, Marcus (Genevive), Zachary, Ben, Nate, Skyler, Alexis, Owen, Ava, and Katie. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She met the love of her life, Tony Marquez, at a dance and they were married for 75 years. Together they raised seven daughters who were always the focus of her life. Her life was the epitome of one who was devoted to raising and caring for family. She loved her 13 grandchildren, and always followed their lives with great interest. Perfy was known for her constant love, support, wisdom and comfort and was loved by many. Until we see you again, we love you and will miss you tremendously, Mom! A woman of strength, resilience, strong faith, insight, and love. Everything we learned about being a rock for our families, we learned from you and dad. We know you are at peace and all is restored.
