Peggy Schey

Peggy Summers Schey, 79, of Rio Rancho, NM, passed away on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at her home under the care of Hospice. Her passing was due to complications of a stroke and dementia. 

She worked as a Middle School Counselor before retiring in 2003.

Mrs. Schey was born Thursday, May 25, 1944, in Pueblo, CO, to Harold and Ruth Summers. She had lived in Rio Rancho for eight years after moving from Denver, CO. 

She enjoyed camping, gardening, singing in various church and community choirs, and watercolor painting.

Mrs. Schey is survived by her husband; N. David Schey, son; Eric Schey of Shoreline, WA; sister; Marlene Meyer of Gays Mill, WI; and one grandson.
