Peggy E. Baxter, 92, passed away peacefully September 28, 2015 with her family at her bedside. Peggy was a devoted mother and grandmother. She was born December 8, 1922 in West Bergholt, Essex, England to Walter K. Gladwell and Bessie E. Field. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack L. Baxter (exactly 30 years ago) and by her parents, six brothers and one sister. She and Jack were married in England in 1945. She and Jack owned and operated several restaurants and motels in Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico in their early years of marriage. Peggy enjoyed watching Nascar races, Tennis and the Dallas Cowboys on TV.
