Pearla Carolyn Grace Casaus

Pearla Carolyn Grace Casaus, a wonderful and well-loved little girl, died December 21, 2017 in a car crash outside Joseph City, Arizona, she was six years old. Pearla was a first-grader at Ernest Stapleton Elementary School in Rio Rancho, and loved to laugh, learn and play. She had a joyous spirit, a wry sense of humor, an inquisitive mind, and no doubt would have made a huge impact on the world. As it is, she will never be forgotten by those who knew and loved her. We will miss her more than all the stars in the sky.

Pearla is survived by her parents, Paul Casaus and Cynthia Casaus; her brothers, Colton Casaus, Gabriel Aro and Julian Aro; her grandparents, Mary C. Casaus, Felix S. Casaus and Anna Tapia Casaus, and Fred and Mary Aguilar; several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Memorial Service for Pearla will be held Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Sagebrush Church, 6440 Coors Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to: Ernest Stapleton Elementary School, 3100 Stapleton Ave. NE Rio Rancho, NM 87124 in the name of Pearla Casaus. Funding will go toward assisting children with reading disabilities.

We would like to thank the many friends who have reached out in our time of pain and grief, your kindness will never be forgotten, and we hold you very close. We also would like to thank the incredible staffs at Flagstaff Medical Center and the Little Colorado Medical Center in Winslow, Arizona. You made a huge difference.
