Born Pearl May Decker on October 4, 1924 to Frank and Stella Decker of Licking, MO, passed away peacefully on May 18, 2014. Devoted daughter, beloved mother and treasured grandmother, she was all that and so much more. She started traveling young as at one year old she moved from Missouri with her parents to Taft, CA where her father began a long career working in the oil fields. Married to Airman, Dale R. Paules, she lived in such diverse places as Dodge City, KS, Springfield, MO, Newfoundland, Fairfield, CT and the Philippine Islands, as well as Lingle, WY, Cheyenne, WY and Albuquerque, NM. Because there was no opportunity to go to college, she went to business school and worked as a secretary for JAG, the school system in Lingle and in the Wyoming State Auditor's office, from which she retired. Throughout her life she was an avid and accomplished bridge player. She was a longtime member of the Lingle Community Presbyterian Church, Order of the Eastern Star, and American Legion Auxiliary. She always thought more of others than she did of herself. She gave her children all the love they could wish for, all the attention, care and encouragement she could. She gave them solid moral and ethical values and insured that, at great sacrifice to herself, they received the training and education needed to insure their ability to survive and thrive in the worlds of independence they entered after leaving home. She was sweet, intelligent, conscientious, made lots of friends and had a fun sense of humor. The world is so much better for her having been here. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Stella Decker; her brothers, Vernon and James; her nephew, Jeff Decker; and her husband, Dale R. Paules. She is survived by her son, David Paules and his wife Kathie of Ocala, FL; and her daughter, Sandra Paules, MD and husband John Marron of Albuquerque, NM. She is also survived by her grandson, Aaron Bahmer of Lingle, WY; her granddaughters, Julia Paules of Columbia, SC and Diana Paules of Columbia, MD. She leaves behind two great-granddaughters, Emily and Daphne Bahmer of Lingle/Torrington, WY. Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 24, 2014, 4:00 p.m., at Lingle Community Presbyterian Church, Lingle, Wyoming. FRENCH - Wyoming 7121 Wyoming Blvd. NE (505) 823-9400
