Pearl Elaine Brown, born Friday, November 10, 1944 in Seattle, WA, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 18, 2022, after a long battle with cancer. Her mother Ruby Fowler and stepdad, Patrick Nokes preceded her in death. The love of her life Merle Brown was happily married 53 years. They still acted like love birds until the end! Her selfless commitment to raise three daughters from an early age, LaVonne Miller, Christine Barrera and Barbara Shelton. She adored her six grandchildren, Clayton, Benson, Cody, Caelan, Casey, Patrick. She was happiest being surrounded by her daughters and grandchildren.
Pearl was an only child who showed love to everyone, connecting to them with her big smile and sparkling eyes. When LaVonne married Bruce, Pearl eagerly welcomed the Miller family as her own. Merle's family grew to be an important part of her life, Sister In-Law Marilyn husband Lyle Talbott, Brother In-Law Merton and wife Wanda Brown, Brother In-Law Merv and wife Jeannie Brown including their children. Pearl gained a special sisterhood with Marilyn and Wanda which she longed for growing up.
In the late 70's she reunited with her half-brother, Bob Lynch, their bond was unbreakable from the first time they met. Their father, Fred Lynch gave them their similarities as half siblings from their nose to their eyes, their smiles, and big hearts! She gained another sister with Bob's wife, Leanne.
Pearl was devoted to keeping closely connected with her cousins, aunts, and uncles from the Fowler and Nokes families.
Pearl's youthful heart celebrated every special occasion by playing games, making everyone laugh often to tears with her great humor. Merle and Pearl enjoyed road trips escaping to the ocean, visiting friends and family, and going to the casino.
Her loving heart extended to her daughter's friends as she adopted them as her own. Her closest friends were just like family, and they felt the same way about her. Pearl had a deep compassion for animals especially Mr. Kat who came into her life at the perfect time.
Special thanks to Dr. B, (Bernard Agbemadzo) for his integrity and personal attention beyond measure. Also, the staff at the Presbyterian Medical Group at Kaseman Hospital, Rust Medical Center and the Presbyterian Hospice Team.
