Pauline Bell Souter-Mackey, 94, of Cabool, MO and formerly of Albuquerque, NM passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home on June 22, 2017. She was born on June 27, 1922 in Parsons, KS the daughter of James Garfield and Margie Bell (Hammack) Souter.
Pauline was united in marriage to Joseph L. Mackey on September 19, 1942 and to this union four children were born. She was Saved and Baptized at the age of 14 and continued to faithfully serve the Lord throughout her lifetime.
Pauline loved to collect salt & pepper shakers and cookie jars; she also enjoyed crocheting. She was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque until moving to Cabool, MO to live with her daughter, Margie.
Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 61 years, Joseph; four brothers and two sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Margie E. Hoover and husband, Jerry of Cabool, MO and Kathyrn A. Martin and husband, Tom of Mtn. View, MO; her sons, Joseph L. Mackey and wife, Deanna of Veguita, NM and George R. Mackey and wife, Cynthia of Licking, MO; three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
Services will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2017, 11:00 a.m. with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. at FRENCH – University, with Interment at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE.
In lieu of flowers the family had requested contributions to Hospice Compassus or the South Street Church of God c/o the funeral home.
