Pauline Elizabeth Seay

On October 16, 2015, Pauline Elizabeth Seay (Cannon) went to be with the Lord, she was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque born and raised. She graduated from Albuquerque high school. Until the last few months of her life she had monthly lunches with her fellow graduates and friends, some of which she knew from elementary school.
Pauline in her younger years enjoyed roller skating. This sport brought her together with her lifelong love Bob Seay. They married in 1949 and were together until he passed away in 2011. In her part time she enjoyed modeling for community events and fundraisers. She was very proud of the fact that while raising three boys she helped build a lifelong heavy construction business with Bob. Her first office for the company was in her small living room at home. She ran the office for the business from 1957 through 2011 when due to health reasons finally had to give it up. Early on she belonged to the Women's Home Builders Auxiliary and in 1972 she was the president.
Pauline was a very strong person which is why she overcame many health issues in her life. A broken back as a young woman, Guillain Barre syndrome, Congestive Heart Failure in 2000, and breast cancer to name a few. She faced all these health challenges with a smile on her face and determination in her heart.
Pauline lived with her youngest son, Mike and wife Cindy for the last four years in the East Mountains, which she enjoyed except for the snow. Pauline passed away at home in the room she loved with her youngest son, Mike by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bob in 2011; and her oldest son, Rob in 2014.
Pauline was an amazing mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and will be missed by many. Please join us in celebrating her life on Thursday October 22, 2015, viewing at 1:00 p.m. and service at 2:00 p.m. at FRENCH - University.
