Pauline Garcia

PAULINE F. GARCIA (ROMERO)Age 97, passed away on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, surrounded by family. Pauline is survived by her children, Ron Garcia, Ralph Garcia (Alice), Tina Brackhahn (Gary) and Ernie Garcia (Marilyn); grandchildren, Damian and Derek Garcia, Dee Ann Burton and Jayson Garcia, Todd and Eric Brackhahn, Lisa Peters and Suzanne Garcia-Pino; 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Flora Lucero (age 101). Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Garcia of 52 years; granddaughter, Katy Garcia; parents, Reymundo and Lina Romero; two sisters and two brothers. She was born on April 2, 1915 in Torreon, NM. Pauline was a nurse and worked for several years with St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe, NM. She was a longtime member of St. Francis Cathedral in Santa Fe and John XXIII Catholic Church in Albuquerque. Pauline was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Friends may visit French - Wyoming Chapel Wednesday, September 5, 2012, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. with Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, September 6, 2012, 11:30 a.m., at John XXIII Catholic Community, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr. NE. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Pauline's memory to a charity of your choice.
