Pauline Helen (Craig) David

November 28, 1930 — April 8, 2022

Heaven has a new angel as Pauline has been taken home to eternal life with the Lord. The eldest daughter of Joe and Aileen Craig, Pauline served as the “ Big” sister to Anne and Margaret. While Pauline was proud of her role as elder sister, she worshiped her older brother Joe “Byrne” Craig. Through the connections her father had as a commercial artist, Pauline was a child model in the Sears catalog and even once was involved in a photo shoot in McCall’s Magazine. After high school graduation, she enrolled in Saint Xavier Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Chicago Illinois. While working at the Chicago Tribune in the payroll department, Pauline met & married Paul David Jr. The couple had three sons, Paul Craig, Christopher and Daniel. After living in a home provided by Paul’s father, they moved to suburban Elmhurst. When the children were raised, Pauline went back to college and received a degree in social work from the College of Dupage. She was a member of both the council of catholic women and sang in Immaculate Conception choir for 20 years. She was also an instructor of religious education in Elmhurst for 15 years. In 1992 Pauline began another chapter as she bravely relocated to Albuquerque NM. There she once again joined a new parish, Risen Savior and sang in their choir. Pauline joined Bear Canyon senior center and initiated a blood pressure program for the elderly. She enjoyed a move to a retirement facility, Manzano Del Sol where she worked in the gift shop and read to the sight impaired. Until July of 2021, Pauline was independent and had many friends throughout her seven year stay at the facility. While she will be missed, both family & friends are comforted with the eternal memories they share.
