Paula Denise Robinson

Paula Denise Robinson, age 72, loving and dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother went to her eternal home on Monday, June 14, 2021. Paula was full of grace and humility and loved her Savior, Jesus Christ. Weeks before her passing, Paula was filled with thoughts of God's wonderful Grace: 2 Corinthians 12:9 "But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me." She was an optimist, always happy, always laughing, and quick to lend a helping hand. Paula was known for her service to others as church secretary and office manager for over 40 years. She dedicated her time to teaching 1st and 2nd grade Sunday School for over 50 years; often teaching the children of the children she taught before.

Enjoying God's creation and living life to the fullest, Paula loved spending time outdoors. In her youth, Paula loved to participate in equestrian activities. Travel was always an adventure, either while enjoying special anniversary vacations or short trips to visit family. Paula had a lifelong love of camping and hiking and enjoyed sharing the beauty of nature with her daughters and grandsons. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowerbeds. Paula fed and took the time to learn the names of the birds that visited her yard.

She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Johnny; her children, Danielle (husband Jeff), Amy (husband Dan), and Chaney (husband Steve); and her grandchildren, Torin, Vincenzo, Antonio, Kieran, and Caden. She is also survived by her mother, Valeta; sisters, Trudy (husband John) and Greta (husband Dwight); and brother, Wesley (wife Nelda). Paula was preceded in death by her father, Willis. She leaves behind many cherished nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. Paula touched the lives of numerous church friends, some of whom were like family. All those who knew her appreciated her kindness and big, bright smile.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, June 23, 2021, 11:00 a.m., at the First Baptist Church of Bosque Farms, 1350 Bosque Farms Blvd. Interment will be held at a later date at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
