WYANT, PAUL L. 88, a resident of Albuquerque, joined our Lord in Heaven on Friday, October 19, 2012. He was born March 2, 1924 in Thorntown, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Agnes Wyant, brothers; Lynn and Jay Wyant. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara, children; Michael and wife Kate, Gregory and wife Joan, Mary Therese, Joe, Katie Burciaga and husband Timmy. He also leaves behind his sister, Dorothy Wyant, CSJ; grand-children Stephen and wife Christina, Karl and wife Desiree, Jed, Sarah and her husband Jordan; great-grandchildren Jeweleah, Elijah and Simone. Paul was a veteran of the US Army Air Corps during WWII and was awarded four bronze service stars. He retired from PNM after 31 years. He was active in coaching at Altamont Little League and was an active Parishioner of Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 9:30 am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 5311 Phoenix Ave. NE. Interment to follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:15 pm. Should friends desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent De Paul Society.
