Paul Korte

KORTE, PAULBorn September 19, 1924 in Las Vegas, New Mexico and resided in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 26, 2012. He is survived by his beloved wife of 68 years, Ageda Korte; and by their three children, Ruben Korte, Leo Korte and Pearl Korte; grandchildren, John Paul Korte, Richard Korte, Milena Chavez, Jacob Silva and Candice Korte; great-grandchildren, Kaylia Ann, Dominique, Antonia, Angelo, Mateo, Rashel, and Delaney. He served country in World War II in the South Pacific with the second Marine division. After World War II, he joined the Army Air Corps, later to become the Air Force where he served his country again for 20 years. He loved to cook for all of us during the holidays. We will always remember the fond memories we shared together. A rosary at 9:15 a.m. followed by a mass at 10:00 a.m. will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 619 Copper Avenue NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102. Following the rosary and mass there will be a procession to the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
