Paul Anthony Gonzales

Paul A. Gonzales, age 40, beloved son and amazing father, was called too soon to his eternal resting place on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Paul was born on March 24, 1981, in Grants, New Mexico to Grace Lopez Baca and Ramon Gonzales Jr. He is the second eldest of eight children.

He is survived by his daughter Alyssa Atencio, and two sons Damian and Andrew Gonzales; siblings Michael Miller, and Annette, Veronica, Jimmy, Patrick, Mark, and Steve Gonzales; goddaughters Kylie Trujillo and Aliyah Sena, and father figure to Shania Holmes. He also had numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Paul lived in Pojoaque, New Mexico and was employed by the County of Los Alamos. He was an assistant wrestling coach at Los Alamos High School. Paul was known for his kindness, generosity, and his crazy personality. He was also known for his willingness to always help others. Paul loved cooking, no matter the occasion he would always show up with a dish. He would brighten any room with his infectious smile. He was a kid at heart with all of his nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly. He was a big fan of the Raiders, loved going to the gym, and had traveled many places.

Paul is preceded in death by Leo Baca, Donna Medina-Gonzales, Gloria Lopez, and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

There will be a viewing from 8:00am-9:30am at FRENCH-Wyoming, A service follow at 11:00am at Sagebrush Church, 6440 Coors Blvd NW, officiated by Pastor Corey Sateren. Immediately following the church service will be a burial at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd NE.
