Patsy Chiado

Patricia Ann Chiado ("Patsy"), 61, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on Monday, March 7, 2016.

Born January 2, 1955, in Albuquerque, she was preceded in death by her father, John Brothers; and her step-father, Arthur De Poi; and is survived by her mother, Armida De Poi.

She is also survived by her husband of 31 years, Pat Chiado; daughters, Raquela Chiado and her fiancé, Chase, and Cinzia Chiado and her husband, Eliot; and son, Kurt Chiado, and his wife, Merlay, all of Albuquerque; a brother, Roger Brothers, and his wife Vicki; and three grandchildren, Andolina, Raelin and Marianela. She is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Patsy loved spoiling her grandchildren, cooking, and volunteering with children. Later in life, her dogs became her special babies. Patsy was dearly loved by family and friends. She was a kind, generous and loving soul. Patsy will be forever missed and remembered in our hearts.

A rosary will be held on Monday, March 14, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at John XXIII, 4831 Tramway Ridge Dr. NE, a memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will be conducted at Mount Calvary Cemetery following the services. Pallbearers will be Patsy's nephews, Brent Chiado, Zach Wilson, Kyle Wilson, Craig Chiado, Nick Chiado and Tony Chiado. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Casa Angelica or Animal Humane of New Mexico.
