Patrick Warren

Patrick William Warren, 86, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving wife and family.

Pat was born on November 1, 1938, in Phoenix, Arizona, to Clinton Griffith Warren and Marguerette Faulconer Warren. The middle child of three, he was a devoted brother to his older brother, Robert, and younger sister, Jan.

Pat dedicated two years of his life to serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the North Central States Mission. Upon returning home, he attended Arizona State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree.

While in school, Pat married the love of his life, Ellen Rae Boyle, in the Mesa Arizona Temple. Together, they built a beautiful family, raising four sons and two daughters.

Pat later pursued a Master's Degree in Business Management at Santa Clara University, which led to a successful career spanning 25 years as a manager for General Electric, followed by 15 years with Ford Aerospace/Lockheed Martin. His career took him to various places, including Phoenix, AZ; Lynchburg, VA; Bloomington, IN; San Jose, CA; Colorado Springs, CO; Mesa, AZ; and Albuquerque, NM. Though a highly regarded manager throughout his manufacturing career, the job he loved and valued the most was when he was a bus driver for special needs kids.

A man of unwavering faith, Pat actively served in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints throughout his life. He also contributed to the Boy Scouts of America, where he helped shape the lives of many young people. He also served in LDS Temple with his wife for many years, including as a Sealer for 20 plus years.

Pat's passions extended beyond his faith and career. He was an avid basketball fan, both on and off the court, playing the game well into his later years. He also loved camping and the outdoors.

Above all, Pat cherished his testimony of Jesus Christ, and his family and the joy they brought him. He is survived by his beloved wife, Ellen; their six children, Randy, Keith, Paul, Norman, Larene, & Heather; 22 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren. His legacy of love, service, and faith will forever be remembered by those who knew him. Pat's life was a testament to his enduring values, and he will be deeply missed.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, starting with a viewing @ 10:00 a.m., and a Memorial @ 11:00 a.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 11750 San Victorio Avenue Northeast, Albuquerque, NM 87111.

Graveside services and interment will take place on Monday, February 3, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at Mesa Cemetery, 1212 N Center St, Mesa, AZ 85201 - (Visitors can enter from either Country Club Dr. or Center St.)
