Patrick Cooney

Patrick Cooney, 82, went to join his late wife Barbara on her birthday, April 6, 2015. Pat's main loves in his life were his wife Barbara and his three daughters. During his lifetime, Patrick tried his hand at many careers and hobbies. In addition to serving his country for six years in the United States Air Force, Pat worked for years as a State Trooper in New York, and also worked as a computer systems analyst at Reader's Digest in Chappaqua NY, a Roman Catholic deacon in New York, Hawaii and New Mexico and was an entrepreneur in Hawaii. He was also an airplane pilot, a motorcycle rider, an avid reader and a football lover. Pat leaves behind his daughter, Kathleen Palmiotti, and husband Anthony Palmiotti; his daughter, Coleen Cooney; his brother, Edward Cooney, and his grandchildren, Michael Moriarty, Daniel Moriarty and Louise Deon. He was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Cooney, and daughter, Maureen Cooney. A Rosary will be held Thursday, April 9, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. at Saint Therese of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church, 300 Mildred Ave. NW, Albuquerque, NM 87107. A Mass will be held Friday, April 10, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Saint Therese of the Infant Jesus Catholic Church. A Graveside Service will follow the Mass at Mt.
