Patricia Ann (Shannon) Conover

Patricia Ann Conover, née Shannon, 89, died on August 10, 2021. She was preceded in death by her brother Jackie; parents Hazel and Harold Shannon; husband Fred; daughter-in-law Doddie Conover; and son-in-law William Vought. She is survived by her children, Bill Conover, Sue Vought, Kurt Conover (Kris Conover); eight grandchildren, Dawn Conover, Dusti Conover (Justin Forsythe), Rebecca and Rei Dunagan, Brian Vought (Leah Vought), Jennifer Vought, Shannon Conover (Dr. Eli Gendron), Dr. Hailey Sedam (Dr. Tyler Sedam); and great-grandsons, Aric Conover and Anthony Trittabaugh.

Pat was raised on a farm in Belt, Montana and graduated from Augusta High. She and Fred moved first to Minnesota, and then Albuquerque to support Fred's career with the Federal Aviation Administration. Pat taught at TVI (now CNM) in the Business and Learning Occupations Center until her retirement in 1990.

Pat's wish was that no services be held. Instead, her ashes will be taken to be interred with Fred in her beloved Montana. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The National Park Foundation, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or to the animal care or rescue society of your choice.
