Patricia Ann Priola, nee Rehm, died on November 24, 2024, at the age of 86 following complications from a fall. Patricia Ann Rehm was born to Henry and Beverly Rehm on October 14, 1938, in Chicago, Illinois. As a young woman she was recruited out of St. Michael Central High School to work for the US Federal Railroad Retirement Board on Michigan Avenue in Chicago. In 1960, she married her longtime sweetheart, Donald Victor Priola, and had four children: Sandra (David) Kubica, Suzette Priola, Donna (Alexander) Gallegos, and Donald Thomas Priola, who were with her when she passed. In 1966, they moved to Albuquerque, NM where their son Don was born.
Patricia was also the proud and loving grandmother of six grandchildren, all of whom loved their "G-Ma" right back, and she was looking forward to the arrival of her first great-grand child. She could outshop her children and grandchildren, loved travel, art history, gardening, and her longtime favorite activity, reading. As she once said, she had a very busy, full, and satisfying life. She is survived by her four children, six grandchildren (Victoria (John) Schultz, Adam (Shanika) Kubica, Kevin Kubica, Thomas (Sierra) Gallegos, William (Bego) Gallegos, and Patrick Gallegos), sister Nancy Hennig, and brother Thomas Rehm.
Patricia was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. A mass of Christian burial will be held on December 4, 2024, at 10:30am at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Albuquerque, NM, followed by a private burial service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Hennig Children College Fund

Her family would also like to thank the Neurosciences ICU and Medical Surgical Subacute Unit staff at UNMH for the outstanding care that they recently provided her, as well as Dr. Arthur Kaufman, her longtime UNMH primary care physician who took such excellent care of Patricia's health needs over so many years.
