Patricia Martin Freund PhD

Freund, Patricia Martin, PhD Patty Freund died on July 30, 2015 in Albuquerque, NM. She was born in Mechanicsburg, OH, on August 22, 1930 to Neva and George Martin. Patty attended Ohio State University and St. Louis University, where she obtained her BA, MA and PhD. She was a committed supporter and board member of many organizations, including the St. Louis Art Museum, St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute and Planned Parenthood. She also was an active member of Delta Delta Delta sorority, Daughters of the American Revolution and a Master Gardener. Patty had a wicked sense of humor and a wonderful style. She was a lifelong learner with a deep spiritual connection to others. Patty was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Rosalie Moore, Marilyn McIntire and Lorna Moses; her husband, Roland B. Morris, Jr.; and her granddaughter, Erica Garrison. She is survived by her sister, Georgia Paulig (Karl); her daughters, Teresa Fulton (Steve) and Lorna Wiggins (Bruce); and her grandchildren, Josh Garrison, Ben Garrison (Kate), Brooke Wiggins, Trevor Wiggins, Seth Wiggins, Chris Wiggins (Carrie) and Randy Wiggins (Adrienne); along with a village of great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by Roger Borders, her cherished friend, whom she met in the first grade. In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to Oasis of Albuquerque, OASISAbq@oasisnet.org, or the OASIS Institute.
