Patricia McCabe, age 88, beloved mother and grandmother passed away on Saturday, December 29, 2018 due to long term Alzheimer's Disease. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James McCabe. She was born on Tuesday, June 24, 1930 in Lockport, NY to William J. and Louise Day Cain. She is survived by her three sons, Tim McCabe (Sandy), Dennis McCabe (Susie) and Terry McCabe (Sherry); seven grandchildren, Brandon (Stephanie), Cody, Garret (Ashley), Lindsey, Schuyler (Abigail), Colton and Micah (Ryan); three great-grandchildren, Levi and Marley McCabe, Ailey Hammer; numerous other relatives and friends. In 1959 Patricia and her husband moved from New York to the drier climate in Albuquerque for family health reasons. She dearly loved her family and was a doting mother and grandmother. She was a dear friend to many and loved to cook and entertain in her home. She was president of the La Mesa Senior Club. Patricia was a homemaker raising her three boys and had various retail positions including Cook’s Sporting Goods and Roberto's. Patricia will be dearly missed. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 12, 2019, 1:00 p.m., at FRENCH -Westside.
