Patricia A. Lyons

Patricia Lyons, age 83, a loving wife, mother and friend, passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2017. Mom was fiercely independent and insisted on her independence to the very end. She loved her children, grandchildren, neighbors and friends and was especially devoted and proud of her seven grandchildren. She was a gifted seamstress and knitter and created keepsakes that will be cherished for generations to come. She created meaningfulness in our lives through traditions and rituals and loved candlelit family dinners with wine and great conversation.

She is survived by her devoted children, Tim Lyons, Tom Lyons and wife, Shirley Weaver Lyons, Dan Lyons and wife, Jackie Uhll Lyons, Kathleen Schneeman and husband, Brent Schneeman and John Lyons; as well as her beloved grandchildren, Donald Lyons, Sean Lyons, Jason Lyons, Katie Lyons, Jack Schneeman, Ben Schneeman and Anna Schneeman. Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved spouse of 38 years, Mike Lyons.

A Visitation will be held Saturday, May 13, 2017, 9:00 a.m., at Sangre de Cristo Catholic Church, 8901 Candelaria NE, followed by a 10:00 a.m. Mass to celebrate Pat’s life. A reception will be held at the home of Mike and Pat Lyons immediately following the service.
