Patricia A. (Dickert) Krause

Patricia A. Krause, 91, passed away at Palmilla Senior Living in Albuquerque, NM on Thursday, March 11, 2021.

Patricia (Pat) was born February 28, 1930 in Wausau, WI to parents Clarence and Elizabeth (Duval) Dickert. She graduated from Wausau Senior High School in 1947. She married her high school sweetheart, Charles Krause, in 1950. They moved to Stratford in 1959, where Charles later served as president of the Stratford State Bank. After retirement, they spent winters in Arizona before living year-round in Wausau. Charles passed away in 2006. In 2014 she moved to Albuquerque to be close to her daughter. Although Patricia enjoyed volunteering and serving others wherever she lived, she especially enjoyed helping at church, most recently at the First United Methodist Church in Wausau.

Pat is survived by her four children, Steve (Nancy) of Appleton, WI, Jane Truehart (Jim Weber) of Albuquerque, NM, Tom (Connie) of San Diego, CA and Mary (Steve) Kight of Dallas, TX; six grandchildren, Katie (Kevin) Makey of Libertyville, IL, Brian Krause (Megan) of Appleton, WI, Ben Truehart (Anna) of Ft. Collins, CO, Kristina Krause (Alec) of Sydney, Australia, Marty Kight of Milwaukee, WI, and Carly Kight of Dallas, TX; and four great-grandchildren, Owen and Audrey Makey, and Jack and Charlie Krause.

In addition to her husband, Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Elizabeth Dickert; sister, Beverly (Dickert) Bauer; and grandson, David Krause.

Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Wausau, WI.
