Patricia June Garcia

Patricia June Garcia passed peacefully the morning of Sunday, September 20, 2020, in her home of Albuquerque, NM.

Patricia was born on June 23, 1949, to Elizabeth D. Sanchez and Gregorio A. Trujillo. She was preceded in death by both her parents; her in-laws, Robert Sr. and Isabel; brothers, Ronald, Donald, and Paul; sister-in-law, Clara; brother-in-law, Mike; dear son, Steven; and beloved grandson, Joshua.

Patricia June was survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Robert Garcia Jr.; beautiful daughters, Isabel and Sandra; amazing daughter-in-law, Monica; beloved grandchildren, Valeriann, Lauren, Matthew, Damian, Kayla, Mercedes; two beautiful great-granddaughters, Pallas and Laila; her brothers, Dennis and Joseph; sisters, Josephine, Senaida and her husband, Larry; brother-in-law, James and his wife, Carmen; sisters-in-law, Susie and Patricia; beloved friend, Joann and bestie, Gloria; along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

This list does not include all her chosen family in the community of Sagebrush Church, most of which knew her as gma. The number of lives she enhanced there are countless. At any given service, Patricia could be found greeting every person in the congregation as if they were one of her own. Sagebrush was continuously brightened by her welcoming and cherishing demeanor.

Patricia lived her life to worship and honor God, reflecting her love for others just as Christ did. Patricia will be remembered for laughter, her infectious smile, her unbelievable generosity, and kindness but most of all, her bubbly and feisty personality. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Services will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at Sagebrush Church, 6440 Coors Blvd NW. A Celebration of Life will follow at Mariposa Park at 4900 Kachina St NW.

In honor and celebration of Patricia, she has asked that her guests dress in YELLOW.
