Patricia Anne Fascitelli, born October 7, 1942 in Chicago, IL, passed away peacefully at home on November 29, 2018 at age 76. After a valiant battle with Parkinson’s disease, her body simply quit on her. Her brain had not, however, and she maintained her wittiness until she could speak no more.
She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Mario; her son, Chris Fascitelli, and wife Michele, their sons Jake and Austin, all from Brea, CA and their daughter Jayde McArthur, her husband Evan and Pat’s great-grandbaby girl, Ellison Jay, all of Portland, OR; her son John Fascitelli and wife Stephanie, their sons Colton and Dominic of Albuquerque; her daughter Michelle Ruth and husband Duey, their children Angie, Kyle and Amber, also of Albuquerque. She is also survived by her brothers Ed (Nan) and John Wolff, sister Mickey Fehr, numerous nieces and nephews and her loyal dog, Roxy. Special thanks to her hospice angels Mariah and Cheri, Armada Hospice and her long-time caregivers Janie and Mary. Words can’t describe the love she had for her family, especially her grandchildren. Her legacy will continue in their kindness, tenacity and sense of humor.
As she wished, cremation has taken place. Memorial Services will be held Thursday, December 13, 2018, 10:00 a.m., at FRENCH – Wyoming with a reception to follow. Private interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the New Mexico Parkinson’s Coalition www.nmparkinson.org 505-219-5065 or Animal Humane New Mexico 505.255.5523 animalhumanenm.org.
