Patricia Ann Dumas, 84, died in her sleep February 11, 2016. Born during the Great Depression, she and her sister Marjorie were raised on a farm near Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was educated at the University of Arkansas, then moved to Albuquerque with her husband Brick Dumas in the mid 1950s and quickly became active in volunteer organizations, including her church, local hospitals, libraries, PTA, DAR, DAC, and more. In the last few years she survived two cancers, recovering with the help of her care givers, family and closest friends, Dave, Connie, Clyde and Scott. Patricia had a magnificent sense of humor and was known to be sharp and sharp-tongued: she had strong convictions and did not withhold them. She is survived by her son, Scott; and by her nephews, Carie Buckley, David Buckley, Steven Buckley and their children. At her request no services will be held. Cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Johns United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society. Please visit the online guestbook for Patricia at www.FrenchFunerals.com.
