Clokey, Patricia A.

Patricia A. Clokey, age 62, of Albuquerque, NM, departed this world to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Friday, January 4, 2019. A devoted wife and mother, she lived too short a life, but in such a brief time, touched many people's hearts with her infectious smile, bubbly laughter, and willingness to always lend an ear or a hand where she could to help those around her. She was dedicated to her family, both immediate and extended, and always did her best to call and sing happy birthday on her family's birthdays or share a kind thought or word of acknowledgment on important dates.

There aren't enough words to express the sadness and heartbreak that comes with her departure from this world, but she was a firm believer that she would see us all again. As such, she wanted to share the following:

If you're reading this, then I have left this world to be in the company of my savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. My mother, Esther H. Romero; father, Alfredo Romero; brothers, Antonio and Jeronimo have all preceded me in death. I leave behind my beloved husband, Edward G. Clokey; daughter, Bennigna M. Jenkins and granddaughter, Isla H. Jenkins. I also leave behind my cherished family; brothers, Robert and his wife, Dolores; Rudy, and Mark and his wife Sylvia, and sisters Vickie, Geraldine, Charlotte, Esther and her husband Daniel, as well as an enormous number of nieces and nephews who are too numerous to name here. To those who called, texted, or visited me, thank you with all of my heart; you always made my day!

A Visitation will be held Thursday, January 10, 2019 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
