Patricia Sue "Cita" Clark

d. March 24, 2015

Patricia Sue Clark ("Cita"), 68, passed away peacefully at her home on March 24, 2015, surrounded by her loving family. Her passing marked the end of her courageous five year battle with brain cancer. Her great strength, perseverance and positive attitude carried her gracefully through this trial, and enabled her to defy all odds and expectations to live out the remainder of her life on her own terms. Patty was a loyal and caring homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, confidant and friend. She enjoyed cooking and eating delicious food, socializing with "The Goils" and others, gardening, volunteering, wildlife watching, photography, collecting and selling antiques and collectibles, reading, traveling and learning about current and historical world events. She appreciated and surrounded herself with beauty, and helped to inspire that same appreciation in others. Patty was born to her loving parents Leslie and Mary Hix on March 18, 1947 in Roswell, New Mexico. She is survived by her husband Chuck; son, Matt Clark; daughter Kitty Clark Fritz; grandchildren, Madison and Rowan Clark and Maya Fritz; her sisters, Carol Detweiler and Anita Trujillo; and her brother, Steve Hix. We extend our sincerest gratitude to all of Patty's doctors and staff. Special recognition goes out to Mr. Will Schmidt, RN and The Hospice of the Sandias for their gentle, considerate and professional aid given to Patty during the latter stage of her illness. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Chad's Episcopal Church, 7171 Tennyson N.E. in Albuquerque, conducted by Father Phillip R. Strange of Wrightwood, California. Memorial donations may be made in Patty's name to the Tucson Audubon Society at ().
