Patricia Ann Brower

Our mom, Patricia “Pat” Anne (Ortiz) Brower, age 67, of Belen, NM, passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2020, in Albuquerque, NM surrounded by her family.

Patricia was born on November 29, 1952, in Santa Fe, NM to Alfonso and Annie Ortiz. Patricia attended St. Michaels High School before she graduated with her master’s in public administration from the University of New Mexico. Patricia worked at Sandia Laboratories in Human Resources up until her retirement in 2017.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Alfonso and Annie Ortiz. She is survived by her two daughters, Lisa Brower (Jason Myers) and Kimberly (Jacob) Hoisington; grandchildren, who were the joy of her life, Ethan, Asher, Alexis, Kaydence, and Lainey; brother, Michael Ortiz; sisters, Judy (Patrick) Ortiz, Joanne Ortiz, Susan (Gerald) Jaramillo, and Chris Nieto; and many nieces and nephews.

Pat was a fiercely independent women who lived her life her way. She was always giving of herself asking for nothing in return. Pat was frequently found in the toy aisle or children clothing store looking for items to spoil her grandkids or to help those in need. We would like to thank all who made a difference and touched our Mom's life! Pat will be laid to rest at the Rosario Cemetery in Santa Fe, NM.
