Oscar Jake Cachora

It is with heavy hearts and love, the family announces the passing of Oscar J. Cachora, at the age of 75, on Thursday, December 31, 2020 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Oscar was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Maria Rita Cachora.
He is survived by his three daughters, Sherri Calderon (Daniel), Ronda Mendoza (Gustavo), and Gail Perez (Humberto Ramos); 9 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was loved by many for his charismatic, giving, loving, and funny spirit. His hobbies were growing roses, gardening, and spending time with his family. He loved all holidays, always going out of his way to make it special for everyone. His life long job has always been a baker starting at a very young age and retired at Eubank Costco where he worked 23 good years. He was a long time member of the Apache Avenue Church of the Nazarene.
Your chair will never be filled, Popa Cachora. Until we meet again, we will miss you.

A private family viewing will be held Friday, January 29, 2021. Family and friends will be invited for a celebration of life gathering at a later date once Covid-19 restrictions are lifted.
