Orlando Robert Klassen

Orlando Robert Klassen died at home at the age of 89. Orlando was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Elizaida (Lee); grandson, Ryan; and his three brothers, Arnold, Rudy and Johnny. He is survived by his daughters, Doris Husted and husband Tony of Albuquerque and Jeannie Mataalii of Aztec NM; and son, Bob and wife Alicia of Tempe, AZ. Orlando has six surviving grandchildren, Jeremy and wife Shannon, Jennifer, Tulima and husband Isi, Michael, Brenna and Lane; and two great grandchildren, Masina and Mac.
Orlando was born in Goessel, KS, married his wife Lee in 1951 in Ganado, AZ where they raised their three children. After a rewarding career, they moved to Albuquerque where he volunteered at Immanuel Presbyterian Church, Dismas House and Meals on Wheels. He was loved and respected by everyone who knew him and always returned that love and respect. He will be greatly missed, but with all of the lives he touched it is a comfort to know he will always be near. He will continue to help and guide us.
The memorial service will be held on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.at Immanuel Presbyterian Church, 114 Carlisle SE. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Immanuel Presbyterian Church, Meals on Wheels or Dimas House is requested.
