Orlando Ray Archunde Jr.

Orlando Archunde Jr, lifelong resident of San Rafael, NM., passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at the age of 50. He is survived by his only son, Orlando Ray; his parents, Orlando Sr., and Darlene Archunde of San Rafael; his brother, Patrick Martinez of Las Vegas, NV.; his sisters, Peggy Martinez of Las Vegas, NV., and Isabel Baca and husband Michael of Ogden, UT.; paternal grandmother, Edith Archunde of San Rafael, NM.; his nephews, Austin Garcia, Michael Baca, and Christopher Baca; and his nieces, Alicia Garcia, Erica Martinez, and Briana Martinez. He had four great-nephews and one great-niece. He was preceded in dead by his paternal grandfather, Prescillano Archunde; his maternal grandmother, Isabel T. Martinez, his aunt, Patricia Apodaca; uncles, Michael Sims, Johnny Gonzales, and Arthur Archunde. He will be remembered for his sense of humor, his hustle, and the love he had for all his family. He will be remembered forever. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, October 8, 2020, 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Grants, NM.
