Onorio "Nor" Colucci

1927 - 2018

Onorio, “Nor,” passed away peacefully after a long illness in Albuquerque on January 4, 2018. He was preceded by his parents, Romolo and Annunziata, by his three older sisters Elena, Cesarina and Benedetta, and by his loving wife of 61 years, Virginia. He is survived by his devoted sons, Anthony and his wife Joy, Thomas and his wife Patricia, Richard and his wife Cecilia, Daniel and his wife Kelly, and Vincent and his wife Denise; and his adoring grandchildren, Emily, Zacharias, Hannah, Isabella, Caterina and Gianna.

Born in Casalvieri, Italy, Nor immigrated to the U.S. in 1932, and was a resident of Albuquerque for the last 45 years. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was a successful business owner and worked hard all his life. Nor and Virginia owned and operated an Albuquerque real estate business, including 25 years as a Century 21 office. He was known for his professionalism and expertise in both residential and commercial real estate.

Nor was widely known for his kindness and generosity, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Friends and family may visit Tuesday, January 9, 2018 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at FRENCH – Wyoming.  A Rosary will be recited Wednesday, January 10, 2018, 6:00 p.m., also at FRENCH – Wyoming.  Mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 11, 2018, 8:30 a.m., at Our Lady of the Annunciation Parish, 2621 Vermont St. NE.  Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
