Ona (Deveikyte) Narbutas, 87, passed away Saturday, July 11, 2015 in Rio Rancho, NM. She is survived by her son, Paulius, and his wife, Dalia; sisters, Janina and Vida; brother, Gediminas, and many nieces and nephews, and their families. She is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Antanas Narbutas MD; her son, Augius, and her brother, Mykolas. She was born in Raguva, Lietuva (Lithuania) and came to the U.S. in 1949. She supported her husband's career in Illinois, Missouri, New Mexico and California, until her retirement in New Mexico. She became so proficient in her ceramics hobby, she achieved certification as a teacher by Duncan Ceramics. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, birds, cooking, and loved to host numerous gatherings of the small Lithuanian community in New Mexico. Friends may visit Friday, July 17, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at FRENCH - Westside. She will be interred beside her husband and son in Illinois.
