Norman T. Suazo (Taos/Acoma Pueblo) was called home by The Creator on Tusesday, May 3, 2022, at the age of 75 years. He was born April 21, 1947, in Albuquerque, NM. Norm passionately served tribal communities throughout Indian Country for over 32 years with the federal government, notably with the BIA Facilities Management & Construction Division. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Lucy Suazo, and his son, Gregory Suazo. Norm is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Aleta (Tweety) Paisano Suazo; loving remembered by son, Travis Suazo and wife, Sacheen Suazo; grandchildren, Sidney, Madison, and Jackson; and great-grandson, Isaak; and son, Ian Suazo.
Services for Norm will be held Tuesday, May 10th, 2022, 11:00 a.m., at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 1100 Indian School Rd. NE, Albuquerque. Viewing will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., leading up to church service. Reception to be held at American Legion Post 13, 1201 Legion Rd. NE, Albuquerque, immediately following services. In lieu of flowers, the family is accepting donations for the Norman T. Suazo scholarship fund.
